Stairs that arrive ready to set
We fabricate straight runs, switchbacks, landings and fire escapes: channel or plate stringers, grating or checker-plate treads with nosing, landings, and handrails and guards, all made to fit. Exterior stairs are hot-dip galvanized so they don't rust out in a few winters.

What we need to quote
Floor-to-floor height, the space available (run and width), where the stair attaches at top and bottom, tread type, handrail style, and finish. Photos of the site with a few measurements written on them help a lot.
Engineering, codes and safety
Platforms, stairs, mezzanines, railings and grating carry people and loads, so they are governed by the Ontario Building Code and, in workplaces, the Occupational Health and Safety Act. We fabricate to your approved drawings. Where a design needs a professional engineer's stamp, we can work from your engineer's drawings or arrange one, and that cost is shown in your quote. Building permits and site inspections are the owner's or contractor's responsibility.

Do you install?
No. We fabricate and deliver ready to install, and your crew or contractor installs it. Sections are labelled to match your layout so it goes up in order.
Do I need an engineer?
For anything that carries people or heavy loads, often yes. We fabricate to approved drawings and can arrange an engineer's stamp if you don't have one. That cost appears in your quote.
Galvanized or powder coated?
Hot-dip galvanizing for outdoors, wet areas and anything you never want to repaint. Powder coating for indoor colour. Duplex, galvanized and then powder coated, gives you both.
