Mezzanine flooring and decking
Steel mezzanine decks, edge railings, gates and stairs, fabricated to fit your space.
More floor space without moving
A steel mezzanine doubles the usable floor in a shop or warehouse. We fabricate the decking, edge railings, swing gates, pallet drop gates and stairs, sized to your columns and beams. Choose bar grating for light and airflow, checker plate for a solid walking surface, or deck panels for storage.
What we fabricate
- Decking panels in grating, checker plate or plate steel.
- Edge guardrails and toe boards with self-closing gates.
- Pallet drop and swing gates for loading.
- Access stairs with handrails and landings.
Bring your layout
Send the footprint, column locations, deck height, what will be stored or done up there, and the finish. If you already have engineered drawings, send those and we'll fabricate to them.
Engineering, codes and safety
Platforms, stairs, mezzanines, railings and grating carry people and loads, so they are governed by the Ontario Building Code and, in workplaces, the Occupational Health and Safety Act. We fabricate to your approved drawings. Where a design needs a professional engineer's stamp, we can work from your engineer's drawings or arrange one, and that cost is shown in your quote. Building permits and site inspections are the owner's or contractor's responsibility.
We fabricate and deliver. Installation is done by your crew or your contractor.

Quick answers
Do you install?
No. We fabricate and deliver ready to install, and your crew or contractor installs it. Sections are labelled to match your layout so it goes up in order.
Do I need an engineer?
For anything that carries people or heavy loads, often yes. We fabricate to approved drawings and can arrange an engineer's stamp if you don't have one. That cost appears in your quote.
Galvanized or powder coated?
Hot-dip galvanizing for outdoors, wet areas and anything you never want to repaint. Powder coating for indoor colour. Duplex, galvanized and then powder coated, gives you both.
Rather talk it through?
Tell Alice what you're building in your own words, typed or spoken. She prices simple parts on the spot and passes anything custom to a person, who replies within one business day.
