What it is.
Gussets stiffen a corner where two members meet. We cut them clean and square so they sit flat against both faces, ready for your welder or ours.

Good to know.
Keep holes at least as wide as the metal is thick, and at least one thickness away from the edge, so they cut clean and don't tear.
Leave holes a little away from bend lines so they stay round after bending. Our size check flags anything too close before you pay.
Cut lettering reads best from about 1/2″ tall. Thin bridges should be at least half the metal thickness.
